A Rhino Premium is a highly desirable addition to your garden. It combines practicality with style, giving you a greenhouse that improves your quality of gardening and at the same time looks great all year round.

It’s a point of pride with us that you can only buy a Rhino Premium directly from our factory in Norfolk. It means we can control the quality of our products and the service we give, ensuring you get the very best from us, every single time.

Louvre Vents & Automatic Roof Ventilation

Adequate ventilation is absolutely crucial to successful growing under glass, and no greenhouse on the market has more ventilation than a Rhino. Better still, it's all included in the price.

Included as standard with the Rhino Premium 8x10 greenhouse:

  • 2 Triple Roof Vents
  • 3 Side Louvre Vents
  • 4 Automatic Roof Vent Openers
  • Storm Locks

Each Rhino Premium is fitted with as much roof ventilation as possible. This is achieved by using a combination of single, double and triple roof vents to make sure the maximum area is achieved, helping hot air escape through the roof vents on those warm summer days. This means our Rhinos are the most ventilated greenhouses in their class on the market. And better still, all the roof vents are controlled by solar-powered automatic vent openers.

Each vent on our Rhino Premium greenhouses is fitted with a storm lock. These locks allow the vents to be secured down in high winds or bad weather conditions, making the entire structure airtight. The high-quality Rhino five-blade louvre vents allow you to take complete control of your ventilation. They allow cool air to enter from the side, which circulates up through the greenhouse and force the heated air out through the roof vents. 4mm Toughened Glass – strong and safe

Keep yourself and your family safe with Rhino's combination glazing system: Toughened Safety Glass and Rubber Glazing Beads. Perfect for exposed locations and families with young children and pets.

Safety is at the heart of every Rhino which is why we only use our Rhino Tuff 4mm toughened safety glass, this glass is 33% thicker than most greenhouse glass. Designed with safety in mind, we use toughened safety glass because breakages are far less likely while ensuring that, if broken, the glass will shatter into lots of tiny pieces rather than big shards minimising the chance of injury. Even the edges of our glass have been rounded so that you don’t cut yourself during installation. And with Grade A glass, you can achieve ultimate clarity for maximum light.

But how is the glass secured in place? We use our unique Rhino glazing system which locks each pane of glass in place along its entire length, using long rubber beads rather than flimsy W-clips. These beads lock the glass in place meaning the panes cannot be blown or sucked out of the frame and pushing on the glass only locks the beads more tightly into the frame, making it ideally engineered for high winds and other extreme weather conditions. With Rhino's glazing method, each pane becomes integral to the strength of the whole frame. The Premium range also features box-section glazing bead for even greater stability, as a step up from the Classic range.

When compared with the glazing that comes as standard on most greenhouses, the Rhino ranges come up trumps every time. No dangerous horticultural glass or flimsy W-clips here; and with the smooth finish achieved by our glazing beads, there's no need for bar capping either.

Strong Frame – great wind resistance

We wouldn’t sit on the roof if a Rhino wasn’t so strong! Indeed, it’s why we named them Rhino. Every single Rhino is engineered for strength and stability, making it perfectly adapted for extreme weather and exposed locations - many customers choose a Rhino specifically for this reason. We've been told by our customers that their Rhinos have withstood storms and very strong gales up to 137mph, so far. Whether you're in the Outer Hebrides or the Channel Islands, our Rhinos make secure growing locations, no matter the weather.

Each Rhino frame has around 60% more aluminium than similarly priced models. But it’s not just the weight, it’s the clever design of the Rhino that provides its inherent strength. There are 3 key factors that contribute the strength of the Rhino range:

  1. Strong T-section bracing
  2. An integral base
  3. The Rhino Tuff glazing system

The Rhino Premium is a step up from the Classic model, with even stronger T-section bracing replacing the tubular bracing of the Classic; positioned at every strut of the framework of the eaves and ridge of the the greenhouse, you can be confident in the security of the structure. The integral base and Rhino Tuff glazing system also add to the overall strength, creating a solid and airtight framework from the top of the roof to the ground.

We want to be confident that our Rhinos are ready for whatever the Great British Weather may throw at them which is why we've tested the snow loading capacity of a Rhino by putting half a tonne of sand bags on the roof.

Integral Base - stronger and great access

Every Rhino greenhouse includes a strong, integral aluminium base in the price, which not only provides an incredibly strong foundation but also allows the Rhino to be erected directly onto firm, level soil if you wish, removing the expense of installing a hard standing base.

Once The Rhino is erected, strong stainless steel ground anchors are concreted into position.

The Rhino can also be erected on a hard standing of concrete or paving slabs, in which case the stainless steel anchors are fixed using the fixings provided.

With wheelchair and wheelbarrow access in mind, all Rhino greenhouses now include a low threshold door and ramp within the price. Eliminating a potential trip hazard at the doorway and on 8, 10 and 12ft wide models.

Hanging Basket Rails

Every Rhino greenhouse comes with two hanging basket rails running down the full length of the structure. These strong aluminium bars were added to provide even more sturdiness to the structure, but as keen gardeners ourselves, we've made them into a very useful practical feature for gardeners by pre-drilling holes. Tie up supports for your tomatoes; hang onions for drying; or hang your tools to free up space on the staging - there are lots of ways to make use of this handy addition to your greenhouse. The roof is so strong that it can easily handle the extra load.

Rainwater Collection

Every Rhino greenhouse also comes with large integral gutters as well as downpipes and bends so you can collect and use the natural rainwater that your plants love.

There is an optional downpipe conversion kit (2-into-1 kit) available at an extra cost which joins the two pipes at the rear of the greenhouse and allows both gutters to feed into one water butt.

25 Year Guarantee – they're that good

Nothing says more about the quality of a Rhino greenhouse than our 25 Year Guarantee.

A generation of gardeners can rest assured that the frame and even the powder coated colour finish are covered, in the unlikely event that the greenhouse fails.

Base Preparation

Our Rhino greenhouses offer great flexibility when it comes to base options. Unlike most other greenhouse brands, our Rhinos can be erected on soil. This is only due to the strength created by its sturdy base and framework. As long as it is level and fully compacted, in most situations soil is the perfect solution.

Alternatively, hardstanding bases are also suitable. As long as they're smooth and level, paving slabs, concrete bases and brick or block perimeter plinths can also be used.
